Action Love Australia is a deductible gift recipient non-profit organization that supports humanitarian and developmental projects both within and outside of Australia. We aim to serve people with empathy (heart) and effort (hands) in an effective manner (head). Together, combining the head, heart, and hands, we hope to stretch and realize every donation to its maximum potential.

Our Team

Joyce Khoo
Joyce Khoo - President
Joyce is a qualified lawyer who has been in practice for 25 years representing and assisting clients in matters ranging from immigration in the past, commercial and property matters, family law, wills and probate, and miscellaneous court proceedings.
 
Joyce is the President and Lead Minister of iHeart Melbourne Church, a non-profit non-denominational church focusing on harvest and healing of lives. She has been in Christian ministry for a few decades and been coaching and mentoring people, raising leaders, working with young persons. She is the ideas person in the Christian ministry. She has also completed her Masters of Ministry from the Lifeline Bible College. 
 
Joyce is passionate about creating projects and courses to enrich and enhance the lives of entrepreneurs, couples, young persons. She is friendly, amiable, has an ability to manage projects and execute activities to carry out the objectives and purposes of charity entities associated with ActionLove Australia. 
Ching Yi Choo
Ching Yi Choo - Secretary
Ching is a qualified medical doctor who is currently training to be a psychiatrist. She currently works in a metropolitan Melbourne hospital and aims to combine medicine and spirituality in overcoming mental health issues. She is also currently completing a Masters of Psychiatry with the University of Melbourne. 
 
Ching is currently on the Board of Directors of iHeart Melbourne Church, a non-profit non-denominational church focusing on harvest and healing of lives. She continues to serve in the Christian ministry, ensuring that all members of the church feel welcomed and loved. 
 
Ching has a huge heart for helping the disadvantaged, and bringing love and equity to the marginalised community. She has a goal in pursuing the prison and homeless ministry. She is known for her pastoral and caring nature, and often spends time thinking of ways to bless the people around her, bringing warmth to their hearts. 
 
James Onggo
James Onggo - Treasurer
James is a qualified medical doctor who is training to be an orthopaedic surgeon. He currently works in a metropolitan Melbourne hospital and aims to ultimately find an anti-aging cure, thus stopping the wear-and-tear processes for many diseases in the medical profession. He is also currently completing a Masters of Traumatology from the University of Newcastle. 
 
James is currently on the Board of Directors of iHeart Melbourne Church, non-profit non-denominational church focusing on harvest and healing of lives. He has been serving the Christian ministry since 2018, and is the brains behind maintaining the structural integrity of the church. He has also recently completed his Masters of Ministry from the Lifeline Bible College. 
 
James is zealous in empowering and establishing self-sustainability and progression in developing nations and the youths of today. He is known for his warm and welcoming personality towards everyone he meets, and naturally puts a smile or a laugh on their faces.
