ActionLove Australia is committed to supporting this Assisting Children to School in the villages north of Stung Treng, Cambodia, where the people earn their livelihood as farmers of sugar cane, cassava, peanuts, and cashew nuts. Families priorities the needs of their children to work with the crops in the fields over education and mostly cannot afford the costs of sending their children to school.

Assisting Children to School is a program supports the families by purchasing the uniform, books, stationery for each child, providing transport, and funding the salary of several teachers, with the overall objective of giving as many children the opportunity to grow and develop through primary and secondary education. Assisting Children to School also holds regular information sessions where parents are invited to a day of discovery to learn about how this program can benefit the family in the long run and encourage their commitment to the education of their children.

In March 2023 Joyce and Denzel visited Assisting Children to School, 1 of the school compounds during a school day, and had the opportunity to mingle and bond with the children through facilitating team building games to the absolute delight of the children who attended school that day.

Your generous funds and donations to ActionLove Australia will be channelled to this Assisting Children to School program and you will be pleased to know that you are making significant investments into the lives of the future generation of young Cambodians in this part of the world.
